Sottosquadro

The NUR collection represents the pinnacle of Italian engineering and sanitary design, with the edges of the Nur washbasin requiring a reinterpretation of the classic casting process to accommodate the “Sottosquadro” curve. Craftsmen a required to gradually remove the plaster molds by hand to allow for a multi-stage drying process. The negative inclination of the edge is unique and represents the renewed ambitious attitude of Alice together with the designer Massimiliano Braconi.

Designer

Massimiliano Braconi, born in Civita Castellana, is a visionary artist and designer at Alice. He obtained a degree from Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Rome and founded his design studio in Viterbo in 2000. His constantly evolving, unconventional style brings utopian ideas to life, shaping authentic experiences for individuals.
